IRVING, Texas. – An Irving woman was arrested on a felony domestic violence charge after police say she assaulted her former boyfriend and impeded his breathing during an altercation at an apartment complex on the Fourth of July.
According to the Irving Police Department, officers responded at approximately 10:49 p.m. on July 4 to the Landings at Northgate Apartments in the 4200 block of West Northgate Drive after a 911 caller remained on the line without responding to dispatchers. During the call, dispatchers reportedly heard a woman crying and screaming, “You tried to rape my daughter.”
