A Fort Worth homicide investigation that began with a wounded 26-year-old arriving at a hospital has now produced two arrests, six weeks after the shooting. Authorities say both men are facing murder charges in connection with Byron DaCameron Cherry’s death.
Quinton Robinson and Marquette Harmon were arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Tarrant County Jail, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Robinson also faces charges of engaging in organized criminal activity, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, evading arrest and failure to identify, while Harmon is additionally charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon and evading arrest.
Cherry, who was 26, died after being shot in Fort Worth on June 16. His family remembered him as outgoing and warm in an obituary published by Golden Gate Funeral Home, which said he was known for his laughter, generosity and ability to make people feel welcome…
