Fort Worth police will increase patrols beginning Saturday, Aug. 1, as part of a 90-day effort to crack down on speeding along some of the city’s most dangerous roadways.
The increased enforcement will focus on the Loop 820 corridor and Interstate 30 during overnight hours from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Police said the goal is to reduce dangerous speeding and aggressive driving while maintaining a visible presence on the roads.
“We’re not gonna be hiding. We’re not gonna be waiting behind a bridge, waiting behind somewhere you can’t see us. We want to be visible,” Officer Buddy Calzada said…
