“This house is like a warm hug.” That’s how homeowner Natalie Cross described the Kessler Park Tudor cottage she shares with her husband Scott and their two pups. It did not start that way, however.
When Scott Cross found the cottage 26 years ago, he fell for the neighborhood first. The hills and trees of Oak Cliff reminded him of his childhood near Austin. Then, there were the added benefits of proximity to downtown and how easy it is to get to Fort Worth. When he fell in love with Natalie 15 years ago, his bachelor pad began to transition slowly.
