It appeared for a time on Wednesday that a jury considering a four-count indictment in connection with the death of a little girl in a collision on an Arlington highway may have been at an impasse.
The jury, in a state district court, was considering whether the defendant, Tyler Hampton, was guilty or not guilty of intoxication manslaughter, manslaughter and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, or of lesser-included offenses, in the wreck that killed 2-year-old Mi’lania Pierite. Her parents, Joshua and Brooklyn, were injured.
