Fort Worth’s All American Tire has been acquired by Pittsburgh-based Liberty Tire Recycling as part of a major expansion of the larger company’s Gulf Coast operations. Liberty Tire has also acquired Louisiana-based Colt Tire Recycling and Houston-based Genan Inc.
Liberty Tire is a portfolio company of I Squared Capital, an investment firm that focuses on infrastructure. The acquisitions significantly increase Liberty’s rubber recycling capacity, tire collections and other capabilities across Texas and Louisiana.
