Exhausted volunteer firefighters battling relentless wildfires west of Fort Worth are getting some help from a friendly rival — the Fort Worth Police Department.
Fort Worth police, with help from Walmart, will hold a donation drive Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Walmart at McCart Avenue and Sycamore School Road. The department is collecting supplies for firefighters working on the front lines.
