IRVING, Texas – A 30-year-old man died after police say he attempted to rob an Irving gas station clerk at gunpoint and was shot when the clerk pulled his own gun and fired at him.
The shooting happened around 10:35 p.m. on August 3, 2026, at the Shell station on the south side of State Highway 183 at N. O’Connor Road.
