North Texas is next up on Costco’s expansion list. The retail and grocery giant is set to build another location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, according to permits filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Those permits indicate Costco is planning to open a warehouse and fuel center in Wylie—the company’s first in the Collin County suburb.
Costco hasn’t officially announced an expansion to the area. According to state filings, the new location will be built at 2002 W Kirby St. and span roughly 165,000 square feet. Construction is expected to begin in October and finish by early August 2027.
