After 25 years of business and surpassing 200 locations, Camp Bow Wow is entering a new era of expansion in more ways than one.
Earlier this year, the dog care franchise rolled out a new unit design that requires less square footage and comes with a lower initial investment. The concept’s fresh take to expansion is extending to its development, too, with the brand signing a deal with first-time franchisees.
Married couple Abigale Freeman and Trinity Shields have signed a deal to open a trio of locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. While they’re new to business ownership, Freeman said they’re familiar with caring for dogs and Camp Bow Wow’s services.
“My dogs are my children, and I’ve always worked hard in my life to give my dogs the life they deserve,” Freeman said. “My whole family were also customers of Camp Bow Wow for about 10 years in San Antonio. When they moved to Fort Worth, they were wondering why there were no locations there, and we wanted to jump on that.”…
