What we know:
It happened around 10:45 p.m. on Thursday after officers were called to a home in the 1700 block of West Lovers Lane. That’s just south of Interstate 30, north of West Pioneer Parkway.
Police said the man in question was roughly 50 years old and was in the house with other family members. They told the officers he was in a state of emotional distress and threatening to take his own life.…
