ARLINGTON, Texas — An elderly woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash while she was attempting to cross the street, police said.
The Arlington Police Department (APD) said officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Collins Street near Oram Street after receiving reports that a woman in the roadway was hit by a car. APD said the 79-year-old woman was taken to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.
The driver who hit her immediately stopped, remained on scene, and was cooperative with the investigation, APD said. She is not facing any criminal charges at this time, police said…
