DALLAS (KDAF) — Terry Black’s Barbecue is expanding its footprint with a new location in Fort Worth, as well as new locations planned for New Braunfels, San Antonio and Nashville, Tenn. The restaurant was founded in 2014 by siblings Christina, Mike and Mark Black, who opened the original location in Austin in honor of their father.
The restaurant cooks its meats low and slow over post oak wood using traditional Central Texas methods. In addition to its original Austin site, Terry Black’s currently operates Texas locations in Dallas, Lockhart, Waco, Houston and Fort Worth.
Terry Black’s offers customizable catering packages capable of serving between 20 and 2,000 guests for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Menu options feature chef-carved brisket, giant beef ribs, pork ribs, smoked turkey, house-made sausage and chopped beef, served alongside scratch-made sides and dessert.
