Grand Prairie Woman Accused of Embezzling $1.2 Million From Elderly Waxahachie Couple

DALLAS – A 69-year-old Grand Prairie woman has been federally indicted on charges accusing her of stealing at least $1.2 million from an elderly Waxahachie couple while working as their longtime bookkeeper.

Nancy Black was indicted Sept. 15 on 10 counts of bank fraud and two counts of aggravated identity theft, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas. She made an initial appearance before a federal magistrate judge Sept. 23.
