Tarrant County Judge Tim O’Hare and Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham on Thursday celebrated a new grant meant to aid the county’s disaster recovery.
The roughly $10 million grant will go toward installing permanent emergency backup generator power systems for two Tarrant County facilities: the Tarrant County Resource Connection Building and the Green Bay Jail, according to a press release from the Texas General Land Office.
