Police investigating after three people killed at Arlington apartment complex

Three people are dead an an Arlington apartment complex and police found out that two of them were in a dating relationship.

Arlington Police say officers were called about shooting reports just after 8:30 p.m. Thursday to an apartment complex in the 3500 block of Chatham Green Lane.

Three victims were found with gunshot wounds, all were pronounced dead at the scene. Two children were found traumatized but unhurt inside. They are now in the care of relatives.

It was found that the children belonged to the mother who was shot dead.

Witnesses claimed to have seen one person dressed in black running from the scene but there are no suspects in custody at this time.

Police have not released the identities of the victims pending further investigation and family notification. All they shared is that out of the three, two were dating each other and the other was an acquaintance who was vistint the apartment.
