Fox 4 News Dallas TX recently reported on a shocking incident involving 18-year-old Amancio Anton Noriz, a young man from Dallas who stands accused of taking the lives of two teenagers in Garland, Texas. The arrest of Noriz took place in Laredo, located near the southern border, after he had managed to flee to Mexico. However, U.S. Marshals successfully apprehended him, and he was subsequently deported back to the United States. Currently, Noriz is awaiting extradition to North Texas.
The tragedy unfolded on the 14th of January in close proximity to Buckingham and North Shiloh roads, just across from North Garland High School. Alan Chavez, an 18-year-old from Wylie, and Ruben Arzola, a 17-year-old also from Wylie, fell victim to Noriz’s alleged shooting. While the Garland Police Department typically refrains from disclosing information about minors, they have been granted special permission by the court to release details related to this case, considering the magnitude of the offense.
Authorities suspect that there was some prior acquaintance between Noriz and the two victims. As a consequence of his alleged actions, Noriz now faces the severe charge of capital murder. The investigation into this distressing incident is ongoing as law enforcement officers work diligently to uncover all the pertinent facts surrounding this tragic event.
