The homelessness crisis in Dallas County has city officials and homeless response agencies working overtime trying to help the thousands who are living outdoors. According to the 2023 Point-in-Time census report, produced by Housing Forward, more than 4,000 individuals are experiencing homelessness on a single night in the combined Dallas and Colin County areas.
