DALLAS, Texas — A fatal shooting in the early hours of February 6, 2024, on Skillman Street has left one man dead and a woman wounded, according to Dallas Police. Upon responding to a shooting call at the 9300 block of Skillman Street around 1:25 a.m., officers discovered 21-year-old Kenneth Jernigan, of Dallas, Texas, fatally wounded in a parking lot. Also found at the scene was a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her arm inside an apartment.
