Third Fort Worth firefighter released from the hospital following rollover accident

Great news for another Fort Worth firefighter, one of the four injured Tuesday when their fire truck crashed and rolled on the way to a house fire.

Fort Worth Fire Department officials say Firefighter Clint Robinson was released from the hospital Thursday, wearing a neck collar but smiling on his way home.

“My family and I are aware of the countless comments and prayers. We don’t know how to say ‘thank you’ because there is no way we could thank each and every one of you. But we are so grateful” said Robinson.

Two of the four firefighters had less serious injuries and they were released from the hospital Tuesday just hours after the crash.

With Robinson’s release, only Fire Captain Daniel Terrell remains in the hospital but commanders have positive news. Terrell was initially in critical-to-life-threatening condition and had been in Intensive Care. But yesterday, he was released from ICU to what is described as a “step-down unit” where he continues to make remarkable progress.
