A 20-year Fort Worth breakfast favorite will move to West 7th Street near Trinity Park

Vickery Blvd. Cafe , a 20-year landmark frequently listed among the “best breakfast” restaurants in Fort Worth, will move off West Seventh Street near downtown this fall, owner Curtis James confirmed Wednesday.

Vickery Blvd. Cafe, currently at 4120 W. Vickery Blvd., is moving into a vacant space in the So7 shops, 2421 W. Seventh St., across from Trinity Park and the LeftBank shops and apartments. It will be called Vickery Cafe.

The new location, 2421 W. Seventh St., actually faces Matisse Drive behind a Chuy’s Tex-Mex. It was originally a location of the Max’s Wine Dive chain.

The cafe has been unable to reach a new lease agreement for its current location, James said.

The current Vickery has been an operating cafe for 50 years. It was originally named Burdav’s.

The new location will add beer, wine and mimosas for Vickery’s busy brunch crowd, James said. It will continue to serve a similar menu of breakfasts, burgers and lunch specials.

He plans to move in November, James said.
