Residents of Arlington had the opportunity to witness local democracy in action as the City Council convened for a duo of sessions on Tuesday. The afternoon work session, which began at 2:30 p.m. in the City Council Briefing Room on the third floor of Arlington City Hall, was followed by the evening meeting in the Council Chamber at 6:30 p.m. The latter, a venue nestled between City Hall and the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library, served as a setting for deliberations over the fiscal well-being of the community.
