Police officer blind in both eyes after responding to ‘targeted’ attack that killed fellow officer, family says

DALLAS (Gray News) – A police officer in Texas is blind in both eyes after responding to a “targeted” attack that killed another officer. According to the Dallas Police Department, Sr. Cpl. Karissa David responded to the scene of a shooting on Aug. 29, where 30-year-old Corey Cobb-Bey allegedly shot and killed officer Darron Burks while he was sitting in his squad car, WFAA reported.
