A man from North Texas was arrested on Sunday evening following a theft at Walmart, a police chase, and a standoff in a nearby home, according to authorities. The Hurst Police Department (HPD) reported that officers were dispatched around 12:40 p.m. in response to a shoplifting incident at the Walmart on 1732 Precinct Line Road. The suspect was observed concealing items in his pockets.
