Dak Sends Bold 1-Word Message To Cowboys On ‘Distractions’

We know that the Dallas Cowboys are never too far away from the news, and despite being on a bye week, Mike McCarthy’s team was still front and center.

First, there was owner Jerry Jones’ radio interview, and now the fan tours of The Star have been getting a workover. Some former players have their say on the tours and how they affect the football team’s day-to-day operation (some have distanced themselves from the quotes made).

Well, one person who is perhaps more qualified than most to comment on that is Dak Prescott , perhaps the most scrutinized player in professional sports. The face of the organization has had his say on what is, in truth, a non-story made into national headlines (because, of course, right?)

“For one, this is all I know, I’m not going to let a couple people touring the building distract me,” Prescott said. “I’m present where I am. I think, honestly, it’s an excuse. What’s the difference in you guys [reporters] coming in the locker room and talking? Guys (gripe) about that too. And I don’t get that.
