Air India Confirms Non-Stop Flights to Dallas and Los Angeles in Winter 2025

Air India has announced its plans to introduce non-stop flights to Dallas and Los Angeles as part of its Winter 2025 schedule, making it the only Indian carrier offering direct service to the United States. Currently, Air India operates multiple flights connecting India to major U.S. cities, including Delhi, New York, Chicago, Washington DC, and San Francisco. The anticipated Dallas route will be particularly significant, as it will be Air India’s first new destination in nine years, following its launch of flights to San Francisco in 2015.

With a substantial Indian diaspora in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the new route is expected to cater to the high demand for direct travel. Air India is also strategically positioning itself for this expansion by hiring staff in both Dallas and Los Angeles. The airline plans to utilize its recently acquired A350 aircraft for long-haul flights, while some Boeing 777-300ER and 787-8 aircraft will be repurposed for the new routes. As the airline continues to lay the groundwork for this expansion, it aims to tap into the growing number of travelers between India and the U.S.
