2 killed in fiery, single-vehicle crash into tree in North Texas, police say

MESQUITE, Texas – Two people were killed after their car crashed into a tree at high speed and caught fire in Mesquite this week, police say. Police say a Toyota Camry hit a curb at high speed shortly before 3 a.m. in the 2900 block of North Town East Blvd. Sunday, lost control and hit a tree in the center median before catching fire.
