DESOTO, Texas – A man who tried to break into a home in DeSoto, Texas, is in the hospital after the woman who owns the property shot him, police said. According to DeSoto PD, 35-year-old Octavio Flores Mondragon tried to break into a home in the 400 block of Raintree Circle armed with a pistol just before 8 p.m. on Friday. According to police, dispatch received multiple calls from neighbors and from the woman who was inside the home.
