Grapevine teacher arrested for alleged inappropriate relationship, SA of student

GRAPEVINE, Texas – A former high school teacher in Grapevine has been arrested on charges of sexual assault of a child and having an improper relationship with a student, according to Grapevine Police.Alainee Simonson was taken into custody on Friday, December 13, and arraigned in Tarrant County later that night. The alleged crimes occurred in 2022 and 2023 while Simonson was employed by the Lewisville Independent School District, with the victim being a student at Killough High School, stated the police.Grapevine Police are actively investigating the case in collaboration with school officials. At this time, there is no evidence to suggest additional victims. Parents who suspect their child may be involved are urged to contact the police.
