Slow-Mo Video Emerges of Micah Parsons’ Late Hit That Injured Kenny Pickett

An intense hit on Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kenny Pickett from Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons sent the signal-caller to the locker room in the third quarter of the Week 17 matchup.

With Pickett already nursing a rib injury, the 26-year-old signal-caller had to be replaced by second-year quarterback Tanner McKee.

No penalty was called on the play on Parsons, which originally resulted in a seven-yard touchdown to WR A.J. Brown. A call of offensive holding on Eagles’ right tackle Lane Johnson nullified the touchdown. Philadelphia would settle for a field goal on the drive, taking a 27-7  lead.

Pickett was sent to the locker room for evaluation and did not return. The 2022 first-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers finished the game with 143 passing yards and a touchdown pass. McKee, his replacement, completed 3-of-4 passes for 54 yards and two touchdowns.

It is not yet clear if Pickett will be available for Week 18.

Parsons finished the contest with two tackles, one TFL and one QB hit. In 13 games this season, the 25-year-old linebacker has 39 total tackles, 9.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.
