Fire damages Fort Worth home, no injuries reported

FORT WORTH, Texas — A late-night fire caused extensive damage to a home on Lenore Street, but all occupants escaped safely, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department. The blaze, which broke out around 11:30 p.m., required the efforts of 29 firefighters to bring under control.Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames emanating from the attic and roof of the one-story wood-frame house. They made two access and ventilation holes to manage the fire, which took approximately 20 minutes to control. While the roof area sustained significant damage, the majority of the home suffered water damage, the department reported.
