The Three Car Brands Most Targeted for Theft in Texas Right Now

Having your vehicle stolen is a horrible feeling, but it happens here in Texas, and all over the country. There are criminals who think they can take whatever they want, which is why we appreciate law enforcement trying to stop vehicle theft in the Lone Star State.

Recently the city of Fort Worth, Texas updated their vehicle theft numbers, and it put everyone on edge. As there has been an increase in vehicle theft year-over-year. Theft numbers rose 4% from May to October in 2024 comparing those same dates to 2023.

What Vehicles Were Targeted the Most?

According to the details by the Fort Worth Police Department the vehicle models that were targeted the most recently have been Chevrolet, Kia and Hyundai.

Although it really doesn’t matter, all people need to remember to lock their vehicle doors when you exit the vehicle regardless of what make or model vehicle you drive.
