A bloody image on social media reportedly led to the arrest of a Texas man in connection with his mother’s murder. An anonymous caller contacted the Fort Worth Police Department around 1:30 a.m. April 18, 2025, with a disturbing story. The person claimed Alexander Taylor Valdez, 23, posted a photo on Snapchat showing a woman covered in blood. Officers went to a home in the 9900 block of Farmers Brand Street for a welfare check and made a gruesome discovery .
According to court documents obtained by WFAA, when police arrived at the home a short time later, Valdez allegedly came to the door covered in blood with a Bible in his hands . He reportedly told police, “It was an exorcism.”
Per the affidavit, officers began talking to Valdez, who reportedly said, “I was doing witchcraft to kill my mom.” When officers asked if anyone was inside the home, he allegedly said, “There is a dead body in there. It’s my mom.”…
