There are several major construction projects scheduled this weekend in Forney, Arlington and Dallas that commuters need to be aware of and try to avoid during weekend travel.
In downtown Dallas Southbound I-45 will have just the right lane open starting at 8 pm on Friday, 5/9 through the weekend until 5 am on Monday, 5/12, this will cause significant delays in the the downtown area.
In Arlington Eastbound I-30 will also be reduced to one lane from 1 am on Saturday morning through 5 am on Monday, 5/12 and thankfully there are no home Texas Rangers games this weekend so traffic shouldn’t be as heavy as it could be…
