The largest city in Texas is also its top spot for millionaires, according to an annual ranking of the world’s wealthiest cities.
There are 81,800 millionaires living in Houston , according to an annual report from Henley & Partners, a London-based investment migration consultancy, and New World Wealth, a global wealth intelligence firm headquartered in South Africa. That ranks Houston as the No. 17 city in the world for millionaires, just above Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, which is home to 81,200.
