Repeat Offender Sentenced to 30 Years for Drug Possession in Grand Prairie

A Tarrant County jury found 41-year-old Quintin Earl Pointer guilty of possession of a controlled substance on Monday, May 12, 2025, and the court subsequently sentenced him to 30 years in prison.

The conviction stemmed from an incident on September 6, 2024, when Grand Prairie Police officers, while investigating illegal gambling, discovered cocaine and methamphetamine inside Pointer’s vehicle.
