Texas Severe Storm Alert: DFW Faces Large Hail, Damaging Winds From 3–9 p.m. Saturday

Fort Worth, Texas – Severe thunderstorms are expected to impact much of North and Central Texas Saturday afternoon, with the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area under the highest threat for large hail and damaging wind gusts through 9 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, numerous storms will develop near Graham and Cisco after 2 p.m. and spread eastward into cities like Waco, Dallas, and Canton by early evening. The greatest risk extends from Sherman to Paris, where scattered severe storms may include hail larger than golf balls and wind gusts topping 60 mph.

Communities including Fort Worth, Denton, and Plano should be prepared for rapid storm development between 3 and 7 p.m. Farther south and east, cities like Killeen, Palestine, and Hearne could see isolated strong storms by 5 p.m., lasting through midnight…
