White Settlement Teen Charged with Aggravated Assault Following Shooting Incident

An 18-year-old suspect has been arrested by the White Settlement Police Department (WSPD) and the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, following a shooting incident that took place on May 10. According to a social media post from the White Settlement Police Department, the suspect, identified as Ruben Martinez III, was charged with Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon, which is a second-degree felony.

The incident began in a quiet neighborhood on Colton Drive near Ozona Avenue, where the victim’s car was found with multiple bullet holes and a shattered rear window. The victim was unharmed but reported being fired upon by a man wielding an AR-style rifle.
