ARLINGTON, Texas — The Arlington Animal Services Center announced Wednesday it is closed until further notice due to substantial flooding within the shelter.
“We want to ensure the community that the animals are safe and water did not enter the areas of the shelter they are being held in,” the shelter said in a statement.
The shelter said a pipe burst in the utility room Tuesday night, causing major flooding in the back portion of the building and flooding offices, supply closets and hallways. The kennel itself didn’t experience any flooding…
