DALLAS — The Dallas Police Department needs about 800 more officers to meet a voter-approved mandate, and the department is looking to poach some recruits from its southern neighbors to do so.
The Dallas Police Department (DPD) posted a recruiting event flier Wednesday on X, calling on Houston-area officers to join the Dallas police academy.
