Funeral services have been announced for 18-year-old Ava Moore, who was killed when a jet ski collided with her kayak in a hit-and-run crash at Grapevine Lake on Memorial Day weekend.
Moore’s funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at The Met Church, at 11301 N. Riverside Drive in Fort Worth.
Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Air Force at the end of the service, and will take place outside the church.
Moore, a 2024 graduate of Timber Creek High School in Keller ISD, played basketball at the U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School. She graduated from the preparatory school May 19 and was scheduled to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy as part of its Class of 2029…
