Dallas Drug Trafficking Ringleader Gets 18 Years in Federal Prison

A Dallas man was sentenced to 18 years in federal prison Monday for his role in a violent drug trafficking operation run out of a local hotel, federal prosecutors announced.

Kenneth Ray Peters, 44, was sentenced to 216 months in prison by Senior U.S. District Judge Barbara M.G. Lynn after pleading guilty in January to conspiracy charges.

Peters and multiple co-defendants used rooms at the BuZen Suites Hotel on 2030 W. Northwest Highway to distribute fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, and other drugs, according to court documents…
