The southern Plains will continue to get pummeled with severe weather today, primarily for eastern Texas.
An upper-level disturbance from the central Plains will shift south into eastern Texas today. With warm temperatures as well as plenty of Gulf moisture, severe thunderstorms will continue to develop across the southern Plains.
The Storm Prediction Center has highlighted this area with a Slight Risk, including Dallas and Waco, Texas. Hail as large as golf balls as well as strong wind gusts exceeding 55 mph will be the main concern, but isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out…
