Retired Arlington physician Dr. Ignacio Nunez, current chairman of the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission, has lived a life of service to others.
He’s a former City Council member, a member of the boards of Arlington-based Texas Health Resources and the College of Science Advisory Board at the University of Texas at Arlington, former chairman of Physicians Leadership and Policy Council Texas Health Resources, and former chairman of the board of trustees of Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital. As an OB-GYN, Nunez has delivered countless babies in Arlington.
