The Viridian Municipal Management District board unanimously voted this week to indefinitely close the Beach at Lake Viridian. It is unclear when or if the beach will reopen to the public.
The June 10 vote came just over a week after the beach was initially closed following a May 30 incident involving 300 teenagers, according to a statement posted to the Viridian website.
