JCPenney to close Texas warehouse and lay off 300 employees

JCPenney will close a Texas facility and lay off roughly 300 employees.

The retail company plans to permanently shutter its Alliance Supply Chain warehouse in Tarrant County in North Texas, the company confirmed to the Texas Workforce Commission in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification letter in early June.
