Fort Worth families, it’s time to swap your living room couches for swimsuits and pool floats. The city has announced a series of Family Nights at local pools, offering residents a chance to enjoy some after-hours splash under the stars. According to a recent announcement from the City of Fort Worth, there will be three opportunities for family-friendly nighttime swimming at two popular area pools.
First up, the historic Forest Park Pool plans to welcome families on July 12 and August 23 from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at 2850 Park Place Ave. Priced at $15 for a family of four, or general admission, the evenings promise to be a casual retreat from the day’s heat and routine. As an added convenience, food trucks are expected to be parked on-site, saving attendees the hassle of cooking and cleaning up after dinner. Swimming excited, they won’t have to argue about doing the dishes.
Another Family Night to mark on your calendars will take place at Marine Park Pool on July 26, located at 303 N.W. 20th St. For a similar entry fee, this pool also invites families to immerse themselves in an evening of aquatic fun. A variety of treats from a local food truck is set to ensure attendees have their fill of both fun and fare in the water. As informed by the City of Fort Worth, this could be the perfect outing for creating lasting summertime memories…
