Ahmad Goree named chief of staff for Dallas city manager

Dallas City Manager Kimberly Bizor Tolbert has announced that Ahmad Goree has been named as her chief of staff, effective Monday, June 30.

Goree brings with him to the City Manager’s Office more than 15 years of service and experience in public administration, strategic leadership and community engagement. He most recently served as the assistant director of program management and communications at the U.S. Small Business Administration, based in the Dallas-Fort Worth District.

In this national role, Goree advised the SBA administrator (a cabinet-level position), the deputy administrator and senior agency leaders on field operations, performance, risk management and external partnerships.
