A 19-year-old man was struck and killed early Saturday morning, June 28, 2025, following a multi-vehicle crash on the westbound lanes of Interstate 30 near Baird Farm Road.
Arlington Police responded to the scene at approximately 3:50 a.m. and found the man lying unresponsive in the roadway. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified him as Angel Rufino Alonso. His cause of death was listed as multiple blunt force injuries.
Investigators determined that Alonso was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado when he collided with an abandoned, unoccupied Jaguar XE parked on the right shoulder of the highway. The crash pushed both vehicles into the main lanes of traffic, where they became disabled…
