A man wanted on multiple felony charges was taken into custody after firing at SWAT officers Wednesday during a lengthy standoff in Irving, police say.
Several law enforcement agencies attempted to serve a narcotics warrant for Shane Arterburn at a residence in Irving at the request of the Carrollton Police Department. Arterburn, who has prior convictions related to drugs and weapons, was wanted for felony drug offenses and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
